The player carries out missions for both factions, but the final story has all the characteristics typical of Painkiller. Its achievement requires a crackdown on a huge number of opponents. We do so using many types of weapons, including the cult Painkiller.
One of the most important changes implemented in Painkiller: Resurrection is surely the introduction of co-operation mode. In this framework, players (maximum two) can complete both the primary campaign, as well as a few extra levels that will be developed with a view of that gameplay options. Manufacturing also offers standard multiplayer, which is one of the main strengths of the cycle Painkiller.
Painkiller: Resurrection is based on heavily modified graphics engine known ones. The introduction of several new products - including effects such as motion blur or dynamic lighting - led to the production of only a haunted look in a positive sense. For projects of all elements of the frame image corresponds to the Austrian artist Peter Siedl.
